Experience

Prior to joining Equiteq, Karan was part of the investment banking group at Ernst & Young in India and Singapore. For over 10 years, he's worked on cross-border and domestic transactions across the Industrials, Automotive, Consumer, and Technology industries. The spectrum includes deals structured as sale of shares, business transfers, asset sales, mergers, and joint ventures. Alongside his transaction experience, he’s developed comprehensive origination capabilities interacting with a diverse profile of entrepreneurs, corporates, and financial sponsors.

Karan holds an executive MBA from the Indian School of Business and a Bachelor of Management Studies from the University of Mumbai (India).
