EQUITEQ ADVISES DATA ANALYTICS CONSULTANCY LIGHTSTREAM ANALYTICS ON ITS SALE TO ABEAM CONSULTING

Equiteq, a global leader in providing strategic and M&A advisory services to knowledge-intensive services firms, is pleased to announce it has advised LightStream Analytics, a successful Southeast Asian data analytics consultancy on its sale to ABeam Consulting, a leading consulting firm providing business transformation services across Asia, the Americas and Europe. The transaction closed on November 30, 2018.

Founded in 2006, LightStream excels at helping clients leverage data to drive operational and strategic decisions. LightStream has successfully ridden the wave of increased demand for data analytics services, by developing a range of seamless service offerings: advanced analytics, data management and enterprise performance management. LightStream’s clients, comprising financial institutions, government bodies, manufacturers, consumer goods companies and educational institutions, benefit from the consolidation of fragmented data, insightful analytics, and intuitive visualizations. ABeam Consulting was founded in Japan in 1981. It provides business transformation services that create strategic advantages, improve business processes, leverage technology innovation, and enhance organizational performance for leading multinational and domestic companies worldwide.
